Christopher S. Moore, DDS
Christopher S. Moore, DDS (‘87) has been in private dental practice in Texas for over 27 years. As an Aggie, he has been thrilled at the opportunity to move to College Station when his wife, Melinda Sheffield-Moore, Ph.D. (‘87) accepted a position as Professor and Department Head at Texas A&M University.
Dr. Moore was born in Beaumont and grew up in the Clear Lake area of Houston. He graduated from Texas A&M University with his B.S. in Biomedical Science, Class of 1987. He then earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1992 from the University of Texas Health Science Center Dental Branch in Houston. Graduating seventh in his class with several awards, Dr. Moore was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the National Dental Honor Society.
Through years of practice, Dr. Moore has gained the experience and knowledge to treat almost any issue you may have. Whether you need a routine cleaning or a large, multi-step procedure, Dr. Moore will provide the information you need, outline the steps that should be taken, and work with you to help you make informed decisions about your care.
Dr. Moore maintains memberships in the America Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, and Brazos Valley Dental Society and is accredited by the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. Dr. Moore has served on the Texas A&M College of Science Advisory Board and has an appointment as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Texas Medical Branch School of Medicine in Galveston.
When he’s not in the office, Dr. Moore will often be found training for the MS150 or riding his bike in Lick Creek Park. He enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and teenagers hiking, kayaking, and skiing, as well as cooking and brewing amazing beer. He also loves spending time with the large flock of dogs that live in his home.
